Pennsylvania Game Commission announces COVID-19 event cancellations

In an effort to protect public health and reduce the overall spread of COVID-19 the Game Commission is taking the following precautions. This page will be updated as additional information becomes available. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

 

Closures:

Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area Visitors Center – Lancaster County The Middle Creek Visitors Center is closed in response to the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The Visitors Center will remain closed through the end of March when managers will reassess the situation. This closure applies to the Visitors Center only. During this time, Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area public access areas and trails will remain open for public use and recreation. Questions regarding this closure can contact Middle Creek at 717-733-1512.

 

Hunter-Trapper Education Classes:

March 14,  Wayne County class at Wayne County Emergency Communication Center in the Northeast Region has been canceled. Questions can be directed to (570) 675-1143 Ext. 5008.


All Hunter-Trapper Education classes have been canceled from 3/16/20 – 3/31/20. Please check back for classes starting on 4/1. If you require certification prior to 4/1, please take our online-only course at https://www.hunter-ed.com/pennsylvaniaOpens

 

Field Days:

In an effort to protect public health and reduce the overall spread of COVID-19, all Field Day events have been canceled from 3/16/20 – 3/31/20. Please check back starting 4/1.

Learn About Fishers Lackawanna County, March 15, PA Anthracite Heritage Museum, Scranton

WILD About Falcons Educator Workshop Lebanon County; Thursday, April 9; Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area in Kleinfeltersville - BEING RESCHEDULED IN JUNE
